Propelling the Bertolini 411/9H Professional Snow Blower is a high-end Honda engine, the air-cooled four-stroke, GX270, which offers more power, quieter performance, lower fuel consumption, and lower emissions.
The 411 range was developed in Italy to be used in rugged, mountainous terrain so tough jobs like clearing snow and ice on awkward surfaces is what it was designed for.
The front-mounted, revolving steel auger has strong teeth to break up compacted snow and ice, this broken up snow is then passed back to an impeller which agitates the snow further and throws it up and out of a metal snow disposal chute.
Adjustable snow skids, fitted to the underside of the auger hood, enable variation of intake height, so clearing is possible on a variety of surfaces, e.g. gravel, without picking up and throwing unwanted material.
A seven-speed gearbox, with four forward and three reverse gears, provides great handling and manoeuvrability in difficult conditions. Six speeds (three forward, three reverse) are available for the front-mounted snow blower and seven for any extra rear-mounted attachments. The gears are oil immersed for increased reliability, durability and performance.
There is an innovative rapid forward/reverse shuttle to help you work fast by letting you switch direction at any speed.
In addition, the Bertolini 411/9H features an ‘on demand’ differential lock. This locks the wheels together enhancing traction in slippery, icy conditions or on demanding terrain. This handy feature is operated by a conveniently situated lever on the handles, making it easy to engage and disengage as needed.
Six-position, vertically adjustable handles enable operation at the right height for any user and on different surfaces and the handles are also fitted with moulded comfort grips and are mounted on vibration dampers for the comfort of the operator, particularly during long periods of use.
The handles can also be adjusted to the left or right, enabling you to clear close up to an edge, border or wall by walking to one side
Attachments are easy to fit on the 411/9H, with a ‘QuickFit’ coupling device allowing easy connection without needing tools.
