We have been Britain’s leading online supplier of lawnmowers and powered garden equipment since 1999 and the service we offer our customers is the best in the industry. Any item purchased on our website is fully backed by MowDIRECT and its agents. Free technical advice is available to all our customers and our Price Guarantee ensures you always get the best deal. We have access to tens-of-millions of pounds worth of stock at any one time and will provide our customers with the most direct and comprehensive access to garden machinery products within the U.K.

Making A Purchase

Making a purchase from MowDIRECT could not be easier. Just browse our Catalog, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" (the icon on the left of your screen) and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.

We accept credit card payment. If you are shopping from North America or anywhere else, place your order and your credit card company will convert the transaction to US Dollars or your own currency.

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express as well as debit cards including Solo, Delta and Maestro. We do not charge for any item until it is either ready to ship or has been reserved with a supplier on your behalf for delivery within a stated time period. Back-ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, mail or over the Internet. Shipping And Handling

Delivery to any address on the UK mainland is free - whatever the size of your order. Details on shipping charges for elsewhere in the world are available from our Call Centre or by emailing shippingcosts@mowdirect.co.uk. Please note, orders for non-UK mainland addresses will not be processed unless you have first sought agreement from MowDIRECT to ship a particular product to your part of the world and have obtained from us the cost of shipping the item to you. The cost of shipping may be added to your order total during checkout in the box provided under the section headed 'Shipping And Handling'. Any quote provided for shipping to non-UK mainland addresses should be seen as provisional in the sense that we reserve the right to amend this price. In such circumstances we will always seek your explicit consent before any additional charges are made to those originally quoted. If you are moving abroad from the UK we can advise you on suitable products for the part of world you are relocating to and arrange for your machinery to be delivered safely and speedily to your shipping container. Delivery Schedule

We begin processing orders within 12 working hours of receipt and a letter of acknowledgement will be sent to you by e-mail confirming product details followed by a full shipping schedule. For tractor mowers, we shall confirm a suitable delivery day before shipping the product. All products available from the store are shown with usual delivery times stated in working days. Although we strive to provide as accurate information on shipping as we can, the delivery period stated either on the site or advised by email or verbally should be seen as a guide only and can not be viewed as the essence of any contract entered into with MowDIRECT. We shall endeavour to notify you as soon as possible of any anticipated delay in the shipment of your product and your order may of course be cancelled at any time prior to dispatch should the wait prove unsatisfactory. Tax Charges

For orders made from the UK or European Union, 17.5% VAT is included in the price. All other orders are VAT free and you should click the exempt button to reduce VAT to zero. If you live in the UK or the EU and reduce VAT to zero during check-out by error or otherwise this amount will be re-applied to your order. Credit Card Security

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using a SSL (Golden Padlock) Secure Server. They are only decrypted after they reach our computer. Guarantee

We guarantee your satisfaction. MowDIRECT only supplies the very best machinery from established manufacturers. All products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, details of which are listed with each individual item on sale in the store. Should a problem occur with a product during the period of warranty, you are entitled to have the product examined by the manufacturer's agent. Any manufacturing fault will be rectified by the manufacturer's agent. Customers are advised that the manufacturer's agent will however be entitled to refuse to undertake work free of charge in the warranty period if the agent believes damage to the machine has been self-inflicted rather than being the consequence of an actual manufacturing fault. Customers are further advised that the manufacturer's warranty will not necessarily cover the cost of taking the product to and from the manufacturer's agent and except for larger items such as ride-on tractors this will normally be the responsibility of the customer. Returns Policy

In accordance with existing UK Distance Selling Regulations, any product may be returned for whatever reason providing we receive written confirmation of your desire to cancel your order within 14 days of delivery. Please either write to MowDIRECT, Brick Kiln Lane, Morningthorpe, Long Stratton, Norwich, NR15 2LH or email customerservice@mowdirect.co.uk. The cost of return will be borne by the customer unless the product is defective or was received in error. In the event that the product has been used and has been returned as unwanted during this period, any benefit gained from use beyond normal examination will be taken into consideration when deciding on the amount to be refunded as will any damage from use, cosmetic or otherwise, to the machine. Returned items should be made available for collection by our shipping company. We would request that returned products are sent back in their original packaging. In the event that this is not done, and we are required to use a more expensive means of collection or packaging service, any excess charges we face will be passed onto the customer. We will issue any refunds as soon as possible and no later than 30 days after cancellation. The customer is responsible for the condition and safekeeping of all goods until collected by us, or, if the customer returns the item to us by their own chosen means, until it reaches us.
