The advanced Over Head Valve MTD engine on this tiller offers a long working life, increased fuel efficiency for low running costs and lower emissions to help protect the environment. This superior built front tine tiller has a powerful 5.5 hp MTD OHV engine and worm drive transmission for solid and reliable performance. Ideal for allotments or the vegetable patch, the tilling width of the MTD T245 Front Tine Tiller is fully adjustable to three separate widths - 13"/33cm, 22"/55cm and 24"/61cm - and crop protection discs are provided as standard. This tiller features an adjustable depth bar and a steel shield to protect the operator from stones and dust. Front transport wheel and folding handles are also featured for easy transportation and compact storage.

MTD T380 Front Tine Tiller (Special Offer)

The most versatile front tine tiller in its class, the MTD T380 has three separate tilling widths - 33 / 61 / 81 cm - making it suitable for a range of tasks in vegetable gardens and allotments of all sizes. Forward and reverse drive enable you to both break down virgin ground and leave a fine tilth ready for sowing. It comes equipped with a powerful and reliable Briggs & Stratton OHV 5.5 hp engine and a large-sized 2.8 litre fuel tank for few stops to refill. This hard wearing tiller also has 6x4 self-sharpening heat treated tines made of spring steel and measuring 30.5 cm in diameter. The adjustable depth bar stake helps anchor the tiller and adjust working speed and depth to suit conditions. Crop protection discs are also featured as standard.
The MTD T380 Garden Tiller also features a high performance chain reduction drive system with a permanently sealed chain case for years of maintenance-free operation and trouble free use. And with a tine speed of 137 rpm, this tiller will tackle both hard and soft ground with ease. The handle height is fully adjustable for operator comfort and convenience. For easy transportation, two 200mm / 8” steel wheels enable you to easily manoeuvre the tiller between areas of work. Weighs 50 kg.
