With power to spare provided by a 20hp Briggs & Stratton Intek V-Twin OHV twin cylinder engine, the Mountfield 2040H Lawn Tractor is suitable for large sized areas up to 4 acres. It features a hydrostatic transmission and Mountfield's tried and tested 102cm/40" 'ContraFlo' cut and collect system. Twin contra-rotating blades cut the grass which is then ejected cleanly and efficiently into a huge 320 litre capacity rear mounted collector. An intelligent audible alarm notifies the operator when the collector is full and emptying is easily achieved without having to leave the driving seat. In suitable conditions fit the mulching kit for this tractor and eradicate the need to collect and dispose of grass clippings.
