NEW MOUNTFIELD 'QUIET' PETROL LAWNMOWERS

We test tried these new low noise petrol lawnmowers at the Mountfield factory in Italy before production began and we have to say we were impressed. They offer a real solution to those of you may have in the past sought the power and performance a petrol lawnmower can deliver but were put off because of concerns around the impact the noise may have had on your neighbours. As the operator, you will instantly notice a quieter sound but where these low noise lawnmowers really win out is from a distance of a few yards away where only a gentle hum not much unlike an electric lawnmower is audible. Because Mountfield 'Quiet' lawnmowers won't annoy your neighbours in the same way a normal petrol lawnmower might they also provide you with greater flexibility as to when you can mow the grass such as evening times during the week.

MOUNTFIELD 514 PDQ POWER DRIVEN 'QUIET' PETROL LAWNMOWER

This innovative new lawnmower from Mountfield offers you the performance capabilities of a petrol lawnmower without the high levels of noise. It’s specially designed and innovative aerodynamic casing significantly reduces noise levels so as to allow for use in built-up areas or in the evening without fear of upsetting the neighbours. Designed to make light work of lawns of any size up to 55m x 55m, the Mountfield 514 PDQ ‘Quiet’ Petrol Lawnmower has a 51cm (20”) cutting width and robust steel deck for longevity. It’s powered by an easy starting 5.5 hp Mountfield RM55 engine with four speed transmission. The cutting height can be adjusted to five positions between 25-75 mm to suit conditions by individual levers at the front and a single lever at the rear. This mower is supplied with a 60 litre grass collector and weighs 33 kg.

MOUNTFIELD MULTICLIP 504 PDQ-4S POWER DRIVEN 'QUIET' PETROL LAWNMOWER

This advanced petrol lawnmower has a specially designed insulated casing to significantly reduce noise levels to about half the level of a normal mower and employs Mountfield’s ‘multiclip’ technology to recycle the grass cuttings. It’s a modern lawnmower designed to meet the needs of environmentally conscious households. Equipped with a Four Speed drive system and 160cc Mountfield RM55 OHV engine, the Mountfield Multiclip 504 PDQ-4S has a robust steel deck and centralised height of cut adjustment between 25-75mm. It features a 48 cm (19”) cutting width and is suitable for larger sized lawns up to 40m x 40m.
