
ALLEN POWER EQUIPMENT is a family owned company and its roots have
been firmly entrenched in Oxfordshire since 1868.
Originally called the Oxford Steam
Plough Company and later renamed John Allen & Sons (Oxford) Ltd., the business
was formed and operated from Cowley for over 100 years before moving, in 1973,
to its present site in the Broadway, Didcot.

Since the move to Didcot in 1973, Allen have continued to introduce new products.

major professional grass machinery business. The acquisition of Walkover Sprayers
in 1991 and Bob Andrews in 1999 continues the Allen tradition of innovation
into the specialised market places both at home and in the world market.
