An automatic float-switch provides automatic on/off operation; it cuts the motor when the water-depth reaches approximately 5cm; restarting it when it reaches a depth of 50cm. This guards against motor burnout and means you can leave the pump unattended. The Einhell BGSP-250 features a stainless-steel drive-shaft for maintenance-free operation; and it has a rugged, impact-resistant housing that will easily cope with any knocks or bumps. This pump will only allow small particles through, so it’s not suitable for dirty water.
