There is also a rear discharge function which is useful for overgrown areas where presentation isn’t an issue. A grass bag enables you to mow more formal areas where grass collection is required. Finally, the MTD SPB48-HW can be used as a mulching lawn mower enabling you to achieve a decent finish without the need for collecting.
This lawn mower is part of MTD-Lawnflite’s Premium Range and has high quality features throughout. An easy to use single lever height adjuster is positioned prominently at the rear of the mower making a change in cutting height really straight forward. The wheels are all ball bearing mounted which helps prevent them from becoming stiff over time.
