It also produces good-sized wood chips which are perfect for using as a protective cover on flower beds.
The MTD 305G Petrol Chipper-Shredder is equipped with a reliable 5 hp (3.7 kW) Briggs & Stratton petrol engine which provides ample power for a shredder of this type of design. The slow cutting blades via the reduction gear gives extra torque making it ideal for branches up to 4 cm. Thanks to two easy grip knobs, the housing can be quickly removed to enable cleaning. Transport wheels have been fitted to enable you to move the shredder around the garden with ease. The overall height of the 305G chipper-shredder is 120 cm and it weighs approximately 33 kg.
