Allen petrol hover lawnmowers benefit from easy-starting, smooth and quiet running honda power packs, which can be used on slopes up to 45°. The usual features of Allen hover lawnmowers are retained in this new line-up of models: strong duty handlebar fixing to the deck and engine mounting fame (on 446 & 450) giving less vibration and less damage to engine/deck in heavy duty conditions. Tapered cone fixing of the impeller to the crankshaft means the impellor can be removed easily without the use of pullers and so preventing damage to the deck. New ergonomically designed handlebars give a more comfortable and hence less tiring grip, enabling easier side to side mowing. Longer handlebars also enables easier mowing access under shrubs, bushes and into ditches.

The Allen 440 Hover Trim Lawnmower is powered by a 50cc/2.5 hp Honda GXV50 4-stroke engine and has a 40cm/16" cutting width. It is easy to start, very light, provides excellent performance and has a long working life. The cutting system employs three steel-tipped nylon safety blades which are quick and easy to change and safer than a bar blade. The Allen 440 hover lawnmower produces a clean cut and is safe to use with a rope on steeper banks. Weighing only 11.5 kg, it has cutting height of 15-40mm (0.625-1.6") and is ideal for domestic gardens.
