RUGGED CONSTRUCTION

The Masport Chipper Shredder features a hopper manufactured to last. Made from 4mm UV resistant polyethylene it is rotationally moulded for added strength and will never rust. A metal plate has been added to the base of the hopper to protect it from flying debris. The unit features rugged 5mm steel side plates, for many years of dependable service, plus a chute handle and large wheels for easy maneouvrability. In the event of a sudden stop of the rotor, the engine crankshaft on the Masport Chipper Shredder is protected from damage by the belt drive system.

The heavy duty cutting system is designed to maximise shredding performance. Three hardened high steel rods support nine staggered metal flails, ensuring all material placed in the unit is shredded.

The 6.5HP Masport Chipper Shredder features an easy start engine. Designed for larger households and commercial use, it is well balanced and easy to transport.

The chipper chute takes branches up to 50mm (2") thick. The rotationally moulded chipper funnel also allows bushy material to be fed into the chute. The chipper blade is hardened high tensile steel mounted on a flywheel 8mm (0.31") thick.
