A side-discharge function means you can also deal effectively with long grass.
Powered by an easy-starting 158cc Briggs & Stratton 500-series engine, the Al-Ko Powerline 4600B Petrol Mulching Lawn Mower has a 46cm width-of-cut, making it ideal for medium- to large-sized lawns. Its push-type design and lightweight build (just 21kg) makes it easy to control and manoeuvre, ideal if you've got lots of obstacles to mow around.
As well as being pleasing on the eye, the 4600B's five-spoke wheels have an extra-wide tread. This not only maximises traction (important for consistent cut), but also ensures that the lawnmower's weight is more evenly distributed, lessening the likelihood of damaging the turf.
For enhanced versatility of use, the blade position can be adjusted through four stages. This allows you to set the mower up to perform at its best should weather conditions be against you.
This solidly built lawnmower also incorporates Al-Ko's new ergonomic grip, so even very long stints at the helm should not be a problem.
Other features include aluminium handlebar-reinforcement, for enhanced strength and durability; and a quick-lock mechanism, which allows the handles to be quickly and easily collapsed to save space during transportation and storage.
