Use Aerators in the spring or late autumn, whenever the lawn's moisture content is high. The result will be a beatiful lawn that will even make professionals green with envy!

Plug aerators remove 3/4 inch diameter soil plugs from the lawn, allowing compacted soil to loosen up in addition to the benefits provided by a spike aerator (see below). Best for easily compacted soil (like clay), heavy traffic areas (playgrounds and sports fields), and burned out, drought-damaged lawns.

This 40" model has 24 heat-treated points, 4 per spool. The heavy duty design ensures a long working life, and the coring points won’t bend or break in tough soil conditions. It has an aeration depth up to 3" and 10" x 4" pneumatic wheels. For transportation between lawn areas, the metal spools can be raised from the ground by a single lever which is easily accessible from the tractor seat. This product has also been recently re-designed to reduce assembly time. Weight 81 lbs.

This 40" Spike Aerator has fifteen 9" diameter spike wheels. It weighs 57 lbs and the transport wheels are 7" x 1.5" semi-pneumatic with bearings.

Enjoy the advantages of both plug and spike type aerators with this unique patented Curved Spike Aerator from Agri-Fab. It’s designed to achieve thorough soil penetration without messy soil plugs. The Agri-Fab 45-0369 aerator has a 40” working width and the weight tray can hold up to 100 lbs for increased soil penetration. The 9” curved discs are made of galvanized steel for rust-proof durability and the 60 curved spikes have an aeration depth of up to 75mm (3in) There is also a simple to use cantilever transport handle for the easy raising and lowering of the curved discs and so enabling you to tow the aerator between work areas. 7" x 1.5" semi-pneumatic wheels are fitted for easy transportation. AGRI-FAB 42" PRO AERATOR/SPREADER (45-0301)

Spike aerator/spreaders offer all the advantages of a drop spreader (with the exception of sand/salt spreading on paved surfaces). Plus, they aerate the lawn allowing water, sunlight and nutrients easy access to the grass roots.

Especially well suited for seeding, these units save you time by allowing one pass aerating and fertilizing.

A spreader and an aerator combined into one attachment does double duty and saves you valuable storage space in the shed or garage. As well as grass seed, the Agri-Fab 45-0301 Aerator/Spreader can be used for spreading fertilizer and granular lime or herbicides.

This Pro model has twelve 7" diameter spike wheels and 10" x 1.75" rib-tread wheels. It employs a chain drive system for reliability and robustness. The rust proof poly hopper has a capacity of 175 lbs and the spread width is 42". Weight 72 lbs.
