ContraFlo Cut & Collect System. The Mountfield 2048H Lawn Tractor has been designed for wet British conditions. The ContraFlo Cut & Collect System creates a powerful air flow which draws grass cuttings directly into the collector. 
Briggs & Stratton Engine. The powerful 22 hp twin cylinder Briggs & Stratton engine on this tractor makes it suitable for covering large areas of grass as well as for use with a range of tractor attachments. 
Hydrostatic Transmission. The Mountfield 2048H Lawn Tractor features foot operated hydrostatic transmission for infinitely variable speed change in either direction without the need to change gears. This not only gives you more manoeuvrability but also greatly speeds up your work rate.

Deck Wash Facility. The deck wash facility on this tractor can be operated by attaching a garden hose to the deck nozzle and engaging the blades. Keeping the deck clear of debris greatly improves the cutting and collection performance.
